synopsis
Sixteen-year-old Gillian Miles has a lot on her plate: she has to find a way to deal with her mom's bipolar disorder and resulting meltdown as well as her own spiraling depression. Plus, Gillian's dad is MIA on extended business trips, just when she needs him most.
Everything seems hopeless until Gillian meets Tristan, the hot surfer guy whose mom's also a complete nut-job. But will he be willing to stick around while Gillian tries to figure out how to hold her family, her life, and her mind together?
