I began writing picture books after taking an online course in writing for children through Barnes & Noble University. I eventually graduated from picture books to middle grade novels before finally finding my true writing love ... young adult novels.
I continually strive to improve my writing craft. To that end, I've been an active, long-term member of an SCBWI critique group.
